A)Going into debt makes you a searvant to someone else other than God. Proverbs 22:7
B)It's clearly a sin if you borrow and don't repay. Psalm 37:21
C) The Bible warns that it's better not to go into debt. Proverbs 17:18
D) The longest term of debt God's people took on in the bible was seven years. Deuteronomy 15:1
E) You are not in control of your own future. James 4:13-15
F) When you go into debt you are asking someone else other than God to meet your needs. Phil 4:19

III. How do we get there?
1. Acknowledge the reality of where you are
2. Commit your financial future to God
3. Develop a plan of attach
A) Decide to take on no more debt
B) Adjust your lifestyle
C) Start setting money aside for emergencies
D) Start paying off ebt smallest to largest
E) Make sure you and your spouse are on the same page
